Responsibilities

Perform systems engineering activities in support of advanced aerospace and defense platforms
Develop and manage system, software, and subsystem requirements
Define and document internal and external system interfaces
Allocate system requirements across engineering disciplines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and integration/test
Support technical documentation, requirements traceability, and verification efforts
Create test plans, test procedures, and test reports
Execute integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) testing activities
Participate in technical reviews and engineering assessments

Required

Active Department of Defense Secret clearance
Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes, requirements development, and documentation
Experience with system verification and test planning/execution
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (CAMEO preferred)
Experience developing software requirements and collaborating closely with software engineers
Background in system and software design, integration, and operational testing
Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar languages
Experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Familiarity with complex aerospace, defense, or mission-critical systems
