Responsibilities
Building Excel models that forecast fund performance, cash flows, and dividend payout ratio
Monitoring and analyzing the sources and uses of available cash flow to evaluate the highest and best uses of liquidity and to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet fund needs
Analyzing potential acquisition and disposition opportunities in collaboration with Acquisitions and Asset Management teams, and the impact of such investment activity on the fund
Analyzing cost of capital and debt maturity profile to inform portfolio financing/refinancing decisions, as well as monitoring interest rate risk and hedging strategy
Participating in and creating materials for key special projects and internal meetings with senior-level stakeholders across Blackstone
Preparing quarterly reports to update investors on fund performance and operational updates
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028
Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
Resume must be in PDF format
Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to expand their knowledge of real estate, finance, and analytics
Desire for a robust modeling and presentation experience involving the use of Excel & PowerPoint skills
Works well in a highly collaborative team environment with dynamic roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Motivation to find solutions independently and humility to acknowledge limits and uncertainties
