Responsibilities
Draft and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories
Manage complex litigation cases from initial filing through trial or settlement
Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
Assist with discovery, including document review, ESI management, and production
Meet with clients, witnesses, and attorneys; prepare summaries and case notes
Prepare exhibits, evidence, and trial materials for hearings and depositions
File pleadings in state and federal courts
Support trial preparation, including use of courtroom and presentation technology
Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for eDiscovery processes
Maintain accurate billable hour records
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or legal environment (complex litigation preferred)
Florida notary required
Strong understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules
Experience managing ESI and using electronic review platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program preferred
Experience with iManage or Coyote is a plus
