Responsibilities
Perform e-discovery and other litigation-related tasks at a high level, including using AI and other recent technologies to enhance e-discovery capabilities
Perform legal research as directed by attorneys
Respond to subpoenas and document requests in a timely manner
Spend up to one quarter of the time assisting the Kansas City contracts team on contracts-related work, including non-disclosure and other basic agreements under attorney supervision
Other legal support tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must exhibit a professional demeanor with an attention to detail
Possess strong organizational skills
Proofing and editing skills
Be able to handle a wide variety of tasks while meeting deadlines
Paralegal degree
Preferred
At least three to five years' experience in a law firm or in-house legal position preferred
Strong knowledge of or litigation preferred
Certification as a Paralegal as granted by an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited certifying body/institution preferred
