Account Manager - Commercial P&C
Summit Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for their Risk Management Division. The role focuses on professional account management and outstanding customer service, ensuring client retention and contributing to business growth.
Responsibilities
Operate as the lead point of contact and relationship manager for an assigned book of business
Coordinate timelines and deadlines with producers, clients/prospects, Client Service Representatives and other team members for all presentations and plan updates
Collaborate with team to respond to RFP’s, evaluate carrier proposals, and determine which options are most suitable for clients
Mastery of Acord Forms including but not limited to applications, binders, and certificates. Keep producers informed of any changes within client base
Proactively contact clients with courtesy communication to ensure plans are running smoothly and address any questions. Send out updates regarding industry, carrier, legislative, newsletters, and invitations to seminars/events
Coordinate with team to prepare new business and renewal communications and collect and complete any application and plan change documentation based on client’s decisions and finalize a successful implementation
Actively stay informed of insurance products, plans, representative and insurance regulations change through industry communications, meetings, webinars and continuing education
Develop and maintain strategic working relationships with carriers
Use CRM systems to manage client files and record all activity with clients and prospects for review
Recognize areas of weakness, provide suggestions, and update documentation for process improvement
Maintain a minimum book size
Complete assigned education requirements within Total CSR learning system
Enroll in and progress towards a professional designation
Perform related responsibilities and general administrative duties as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE EXPERIENCE
