They are seeking a Computer Vision Researcher to join their technical team, responsible for delivering end-to-end AI/Computer Vision solutions while balancing innovation and execution in real-world clinical settings.

Responsibilities
Research and implement state-of-the-art CV models for Visual Healthcare (segmentation, detection, classification, reconstruction)
Balance innovation and execution: explore new algorithms while shipping features into production
Build 2D and 3D pipelines for patient image analysis and longitudinal tracking
Take prototypes → deployed systems (MLOps, inference optimization, deployment)
Stand up the data engine: curation, labeling strategy, evaluation harnesses, bias checks, and model cards
Collaborate with product/clinical partners to translate workflows into usable, validated AI tools
Establish engineering best practices; help recruit, mentor, and grow into a technical leadership role as we scale
Qualification
Required
PhD or equivalent experience in computer vision (segmentation, detection, 3D and/or Vision-Language Models strongly preferred)
Track record in taking CV models from research to production (profiling, optimization, monitoring). Real-world implementation, not just academic
Scrappy, fast-moving, thrives in ambiguity and small teams
Excited to merge deep technical expertise with strategic product thinking
Passionate about making real-world impact with AI
Builder mindset: scrappy, fast, comfortable with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
Preferred
Interest in healthcare/medical imaging is a bonus (not required)
Multimodal learning; AR guidance/pose estimation; image quality/lighting normalization
Healthcare/medical imaging exposure; basics of privacy/security (HIPAA/SOC 2 concepts)
Open-source contributions, tech blogging, or published implementations
