Senior Human Resources Generalist

LEARFIELD is a company seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive operational HR support to an assigned HR Business Partner. The role involves managing a broad range of HR activities, serving as a key point of contact for employees and managers, and contributing to HR projects that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with assigned HR Business Partner to support HR strategies, providing operational support for talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives
Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR-related topics
Serving as a trusted advisor regarding employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions, escalating complex matters to the HRBP as needed
Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support and inform data-driven decisions
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in compliance with changing federal, state and local regulations
Contribute to special projects, such as process improvements, system implementations, culture initiatives and ad-hoc initiatives

Required

4+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a generalist role
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Experience in employee relations, performance and talent management

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
