Responsibilities
Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
Field inspections on vehicle, total loss evaluations, negotiating with repair shops, some desk review, virtual assist. Reviewing approximately 5 claims per day
Qualification
Required
Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Ability to build established relationships with both internal and external customers
Proficient estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
Deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
Ability to negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
Field inspections on vehicle, total loss evaluations, negotiating with repair shops, some desk review, virtual assist
Ability to review approximately 5 claims per day
Located within a 50-mile radius of the service areas listed (Greenville, SC) and can travel throughout the region
