Regional Sales Representative
JSK Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Representative for the East Coast territory in the packaging industry. The role involves managing existing accounts and driving new business development, with a focus on relationship-building and independence.
Responsibilities
Own and grow a multi-state East Coast sales territory with a mix of current and prospective accounts
Aggressively pursue new business development across the packaging industry and adjacent sectors
Sell a broad range of flexible packaging products and materials
Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and quoting to closing and long-term relationship management
Maintain detailed activity and pipeline updates through Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Report weekly itineraries, monthly summaries, and key account updates directly to the VP of Sales
Coordinate customer visits, plant tours, and events with the support of inside teams
Strategically target and grow accounts in collaboration with senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required or an equivalent of 4+ years of relevant flexible packaging industry sales experience
1+ years of outside sales experience in flexible packaging, medical devices or closely related manufacturing industries
Track record of success in both new business development and account management
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
Comfortable managing a large, multi-state territory and traveling approximately 50% of the time
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools—Salesforce experience is a plus
