Senior Accountant
The Keller Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves contributing to the monthly close and financial reporting process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
Serve as a key contributor to the full monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Manage and review general ledger accounts, including preparation and posting of journal entries
Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, accrued receivables, accrued liabilities, intangible assets, and fixed assets
Lead or support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliation
Perform variance analysis and investigate fluctuations against budget, forecast, and prior periods
Review and analyze equipment sales and service revenue recognition to ensure proper accounting treatment
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
Collaborate with the VP of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial analysis
Partner regularly with operations teams to provide financial support, insight, and collaboration
Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Approximately 2 years of prior public accounting experience
Minimum of 3+ years of overall accounting experience
Strong, hands-on month-end close experience across multiple accounting areas
Solid understanding of accrual accounting and financial statement preparation
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data analysis, and reconciliations
Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Team-focused attitude with high energy, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
