Responsibilities
Label individual metal color chips according to company standards
Verify accuracy of color names, codes, and finishes before labeling
Assemble labeled chips into sample decks in the correct order
Package completed sample decks into boxes or envelopes for shipment
Maintain inventory of unlabeled chips, labels, packaging materials, and finished sample decks
Notify management when supplies need to be reordered
Organize and prepare marketing materials such as color charts, catalogs, brochures, and sample packets
Fulfill requests from Sheffield Metals branch locations, sales reps, and customers for marketing materials
Package and ship marketing materials as needed
Keep marketing storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
Inspect all sample chips and decks for accuracy, cleanliness, and consistency
Ensure all outgoing sample materials meet company quality standards
Maintain an organized workspace to support efficient production
Track sample deck production numbers and outgoing shipments
Assist with updating sample inventory logs
Support the sales and marketing team with special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED is required
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in strategic account management and industrial sales role
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Must successfully complete drug screen, physical and E-Verify
Strong attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination and comfort with repetitive tasks
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple requests
Basic computer skills (for logging inventory or printing labels)
Reliability and consistency in daily workflow
Preferred
At least one year of prior professional-level account management and industrial sales with proven experience meeting and exceeding sales goals
A proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships within different organizations to meet or exceed established goals for product sales
Demonstrated strong organizational abilities and prior experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management system for business information tracking
Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customers providing exceptional customer service
Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills
Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office)
Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
Works with a continuous improvement mindset
