Responsibilities
Travel to manufacturing facilities to assess production, logistics, and process performance
Analyze plant data to identify bottlenecks, defects, and downtime
Apply statistical modeling and traditional machine learning to optimize chemical processes
Deliver data-driven recommendations to plant and engineering leadership
Develop analytical tools and train on-site teams
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (required)
Experience in Chemical, Petroleum, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing
Must be based on the U.S. East Coast
Comfortable with extensive, multi-week travel
3–5+ years in manufacturing improvement, process optimization, or continuous improvement
Hands-on experience in chemical, petroleum, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Strong data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning background
Experience optimizing reaction timing, temperature control, and materials
Preferred
Python, SQL, and analytics tooling experience preferred
