Responsibilities
Proactively monitor critical IT services, systems, cloud services, cloud-hosted applications, and infrastructure, providing real-time visibility into performance, availability, and security
Provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other service interruptions
Investigate hardware and software problems related to monitoring tools and perform configuration and corrective actions as required
Maintain detailed logs of issues, solutions, and system changes
Generate, provide, and brief regular reports and analyses of system performance, identifying trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement to ensure optimal IT service delivery
Develop and maintain documentation on the IT service monitoring framework, to include monitoring procedures, alert thresholds, and reporting requirements
Architect, design, pilot, install, integrate, patch, troubleshoot, repair, sustain, and modernize the IT service monitoring framework
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience desired
Additional certifications may be required as prescribed by DoDD 8140 (e.g., Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CASP CE)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in any technical or managerial discipline
