Responsibilities

Prepare and process authorizations to retrieve patient’s medical/mental health records
Call various medical providers to follow up on regular and arduous records; obtain missing parts of records and records from deficient authorizations
Process payment for records
Electronically file records, including scanning
Scan, audit, classify and e-file records and documents into Document Management System
Monitor email and voicemail boxes and respond appropriately to requests and inquiries
Assist Attorneys and Legal Administrative Assistants with the preparation of paperwork
Analyze and sort through correspondence, pleadings, discovery
Other related duties as assigned

Required

Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office, and Adobe Acrobat

Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
