Stryker Field Service Representative

Responsibilities

Coordinate and interface with customer representatives at the brigade and battalion command levels as well as senior program manager office representatives
Monitor and maintain configuration management for Stryker variant of vehicles
Set priority of effort for up to a battalion size fleet of up to 70 Stryker platforms in unscheduled maintenance, scheduled maintenance and repair parts processing
Use skills, abilities, and workload demands to set mission priorities and maintain fleet operational readiness of 90% or above
Conduct hands on training or sustainment training program for General Dynamics Land Systems mechanics and United States Army Mechanics, Operators or Leaders
Oversee and assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants to include sub-components and LRUs pertaining to the Stryker Platform
Oversee and troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (full up power-pack FUPP (engine, transmission, cooling), fuel, exhaust, driveline and suspension ) using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation
Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork (reports) related to performance of duties
Provide property accountability for all assigned property. Assistance for property accountability where needed
Provide assistance and mentorship to welding procedures based on company guidelines
Perform all duties in accordance with ISO processes
Perform duties as site Field Representative; Environmental, Hazmat, Safety, Fire prevention and administrative functions

Required

Must be certified Stryker FSR or successfully complete Stryker FSR Academy
Completion of High School / GED required, Associate degree preferred or equivalent technical certification
Six (6) to 9 years of related work experience. (Equivalent military service acceptable)
Ability to acquire U.S. Passport within 90 days of hiring
Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components
Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support contingency operations
Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities, as well as other field environment and work duty locations as required
Occasional work in confined space within vehicle interior
Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties
Physical requirements: Must pass and maintain company deployment requirements
Meet and maintain requirements of SP 2-644
Dexterity in fingers of both hand
Carry 70lbs (tool box or parts) up to 50'
Must be able to obtain and retain U.S. passport
Administrative and office skills required (Microsoft Office, EXCEL and Power Point)
Supply experience in property
Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for CAC (Common Access Card)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a T3 secret clearance
Must be a U.S. person
Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed

Preferred

Stryker Vehicle experience preferred
Military school trained wheel vehicle mechanic (such as US Army MOSs 63B, 63S, 63W or 63B MCM or USMC MOSs 2147, 3521, 3522, 3524) preferred. Documented commercial training and/or experience acceptable. Field experience preferred
