Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Licensing & Commissions team, setting clear expectations and coaching for performance
Oversee accurate and timely commission payments and agent licensing in compliance with state regulations
Serve as the business lead for system enhancements, testing, and implementation impacting agent pay and licensing
Partner cross-functionally to support new products, regulatory changes, and system improvements
Manage intermediary onboarding, contract changes, renewals, and terminations
Monitor budgets, reporting, and controls to ensure operational and financial integrity
Communicate proactively and clearly to keep teams aligned, informed, and motivated
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, plus insurance industry experience
Experience leading teams while consistently prioritizing exceptional customer service
Knowledge of insurance operations with emphasis on agent licensing and commissions
Experience supporting system requirements, testing, and process improvements (Agile familiarity a plus)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word, with exposure to tools such as Tableau, NIPR Producer Database, Vertafore PLM, or similar systems preferred
