Responsibilities
Process purchase orders and invoices in accordance with healthcare supply chain policies and procedures
Resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies that prevent timely ordering or payment
Support urgent supply and payment situations, including credit holds and critical transactions
Perform transactions using an automated ERP system
Identify recurring issues and collaborate with leadership on process improvement initiatives
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoices, payments, credits, backorders, and order status
Run reports and queries as assigned
Maintain strong working relationships and provide excellent customer service
Handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
Meet departmental service level agreements (SLAs) and performance expectations
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable, supply chain, business operations, or customer service
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Customer service–focused mindset
Preferred
College coursework or Associate's degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
Experience using ERP systems or web-based applications
Background in call center or food service environments (historically strong performers in this role)
