Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to assist with the daily supervision of warehouse teams. Responsibilities

Assisting with the daily supervision of the warehouse teams
Supports supply chain management activities within the Retail Division
Provides coaching to employees to support the highest level of customer service and professionalism
Implements strategies to achieve the goals for the organization and supports supply chain management activities
Implements, revises, and sustains policies, procedures and programs
Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments
May serve as a team member or subject matter expert on formal projects or within the department
Effectively engages in change affecting her/him, communicating appropriately with supervisor
Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change
Solves problems of moderate to advanced complexity; able to identify root cause, interpret data and resolve issues
Understands and applies professional principles and skills within area of specialization to modify processes to resolve situations
Champions Goodwill's community engagement initiatives and serves as an ambassador for Goodwill in the wider community
Maintains consistent use of established methods to assure customer supply chain needs are provided timely and efficiently to both internal and external customers
Observes donation trends with the ability to forecast loads and communicate with vendors to coordinate timely pick-ups, while ensuring the highest level of service is maintained with commodities product quality and accurate load weights
Ensures operating procedures and policies are followed, along with asset protection and safety guidelines in accordance with company standards
Supervises the efficient space layout and product allocation to ensure continuous flow of goods
Consistently provides exceptional customer service while monitoring and coaching employees to do the same
Reacts to business needs and adjusts work plan, schedules and resources to meet demands and specifications
Follows defined processes for protection and usage of high value company assets including but not limited to forklifts, and other equipment
Assures utilization of maintenance systems to ensure on-going Preventative Maintenance programs are in place and equipment is maintained in excellent operating condition
Assists with interviews
Provides training and coaching of new and existing employees to increase employee satisfaction and maximize productivity
Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Required

Two years of college education or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 3 years' experience
Valid driver's license
Flexible schedule. Nights and weekends may be required as business warrants
Must have working phone that allows for communication accessibility

Preferred

Coursework, training and/or work experience in Logistics Management a plus
Forklift experience preferred
