Data Analytics Project Lead

The Data Analytics Project Lead plays a critical role in building and scaling the firm’s Data & AI function, ensuring data initiatives are executed effectively and in alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities
Lead planning and execution of data and analytics initiatives as Grimes builds and scales its data warehouse, BI environment, and ETL infrastructure
Support data transformation, validation, and integration efforts across internal systems and data sources
Implement dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools such as Tableau
Coordinate cross-functional teams by leading meetings, reviewing progress, and managing timelines and deliverables with vendors and internal partners
Partner with team members to support ETL workflows and data pipeline enhancements
Translate business questions into clear data requirements, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes
Lead rollout and adoption of new Data & AI products by developing training materials and facilitating enablement sessions
Gather feedback post-launch and collaborate with the team to iterate and improve Data & AI products
Qualification
Required
5 -7 years experience in business intelligence, or data-focused project roles
Strong, hands-on experience implementing dashboards using BI tools
Strong understanding of SQL and other relational Database
Proven ability to support or lead data projects, or analytics initiatives
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with high level non-technical stakeholders as well as technical development teams
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Preferred
Exposure to ETL tools, data modeling, or cloud-based data platforms such as Tableau preferred but not required
Experience working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud CRM preferred but not required
