Technical Writer
Supermicro is a leading provider of advanced server, storage, and networking solutions. As a Technical Writer, you will create impactful documentation, drive product communication, and collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality technical content.

Responsibilities
Write, revise, and complete user manuals, quick reference guides, and other product-related guides for servers, motherboards, and chassis
Use graphic tools such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to create and modify technical illustrations and product images for documentation
Interact with engineers and other writers to gather technical data, schematics, and drawings required for documentation
Maintain revision history records for all manuals and user guides and ensure that they are up to date
Submit daily and weekly status reports and collaborate with other teams, including sales and engineers, to ensure documentation is accurate and comprehensive
Qualification
Required
BA in English, Technical Writing, or Technical Communications
Proficiency in desktop publishing tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Excel, Microsoft Word, and MadCap Flare
At least two years of technical experience in computer hardware-related fields
A minimum of two years of experience in writing technical documents and creating technical graphic illustrations
Ability to work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and effectively follow oral and written instructions
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, including completing tasks on short notice
