Responsibilities
Perform process sustaining tasks for the manufacturing line on a variety of mechanical and chemical processes including response to out-of-control process, work on yield improvement projects, disposition of special case non-conforming materials that come from the manufacturing line, qualifying new equipment and processes that are being introduced into the manufacturing line
Play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide array of manufacturing equipment
Apply technical skills to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, factory automation and robotics
Work with the highest caliber process and equipment engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and minimize or eliminate downtime
Assist in developing and implementing quality systems
Identify inefficiencies across the business and be responsible for implementation of technical solutions by working closely with the Technical Program Manager
Lead Associates and Leads in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve production goals, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement
Supervise a group of equipment maintenance technicians that are responsible for equipment availability and performance
Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment
Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing facility
Qualification
Required
Experience in manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance
Technical skills to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work with factory automation and robotics
Experience in quality systems engineering and implementation
Leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing activities
Ability to manage workload in a collaborative work environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to equipment breakdowns
