Responsibilities

Providing insight into how Read & Publish agreements are typically structured with Library consortiums and Individual institutions
Sharing perspectives on common pricing approaches, discounting considerations, and negotiation dynamics
Advising on typical sales and agreement processes
Offering guidance on go-to-market considerations for introducing a Read & Publish model at JoVE
Highlighting potential product and operational implications
Supporting the identification of an appropriate initial target segment (e.g., large consortiums, national agreements, or individual institutions) for piloting a Read & Publish approach

Qualification

Read & Publish experienceSales negotiation processesInstitutional procurement dynamicsLicensing dynamicsActionable recommendations

Required

3+ years of direct experience working with Read & Publish or other transformative agreement models
End-to-end R&P sales and negotiation processes
Institutional procurement and licensing dynamics
Demonstrated success managing end to end successful Read & Publish sales and negotiation process for publishers selling to institutional libraries
Experience with procurement and licensing dynamics
Ability to translate industry practices and learnings into clear, actionable recommendations for an innovative and evolving publishing platform
