Responsibilities
Become a trusted advisor with assigned Electrical Contractors, Channel Partners, Consultants, and End Users across several market segments to influence and guide the design of small to large, complex electrical distribution systems in a given
Solution sales comprised of merchandised (into stock) and Low Voltage Distribution, Medium Voltage, Motor Control, Power Switching, Digital Power, Automation, Services and Power Monitoring engineered-to-order equipment used to distribute, monitor and control a customer’s electrical network
Interpret electrical plans , specifications , terms and conditions to develop winning proposals to clientele
Drive market strategy and demand generation through multi-layered account plans. Actively engages and manages channel partners to increase likelihood of sales success for Schneider Electric target accounts
Exceed sales and profitability metrics to assist in achieving Schneider Electric’s ambitions for growth in assigned market
Connect Electrical Contractors and Channel Partners to cutting-edge offers, applications and tools to help them achieve their commercial goals
Consult with Channel Management, Branch Management, Outside Salespeople, Quotations, Inside Sales, Contractor, Facility Engineers, Executives, Purchasing, Consulting Engineers, General Contractors, and Design Build Electrical Contractors to bring awareness of Schneider Electric innovations to market
Work with internal teams of Inside Sales Specialists, Quotation Specialists, Project managers, Channel Managers, Account Managers, Business Development, Services, Strategic Accounts, Industrial Automation Specialists, Consulting Engineering Specialists, Offer Management, Price Managers, and Supply Chain to deliver solutions that solve customer needs
The Individual will assist with the tactical execution of operational plans to drive the enablement of channel partners to realize growth targets by implementing sales plans, national/local promotions, training programs (on-line, self-paced, BOOST, Edge, etc.), and inventory planning. This role helps drive both strategic design and tactical execution of mutual goals
Create and develop growth-orientated business plans (JGPA/Targeting) with channel partners for acquisition and existing accounts. Gain agreement, establishing measures of performance to drive mutual accountability
Participate in the sales coverage model as well as shaping our distribution channel portfolio to ensure optimal channel coverage to serve
Remain current on competitive offers and share insights with Electrical Contractors, Channel Partners, Line of Business and Pricing organizations to develop strategies
General understanding of Schneider Electric’s software, cloud analytics and services story for owners as it relates to their own digital and sustainability goals. Engages cross-functional teams for complex software engagements
Embody Schneider Electric in the eyes of our customers and channel partners. Share the Schneider Electric brand story to pull through other Schneider Electric technologies and business units
Qualification
Required
3+ years relevant sales experience
Advanced experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries
Advanced experience executive relationship building
Experience with any of the following: low voltage electrical distribution, medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, automation, controls, or energy management technologies
Familiarity with Power Distribution Equipment such as busway, panelboards, transformers, switchboards, electrical components, surge protective devices, paralleling switchgear, automation, services, and software
Advanced experience with consultative sales methodologies
Preferred
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Business
A combination of education and/or relevant experience will be considered
