Responsibilities
Manage high-volume litigation docketing and calendaring, ensuring all deadlines are accurately captured and tracked
Review court filings, correspondence, and internal requests to calculate and enter critical deadlines
Independently maintain case activity and deadlines within CompuLaw Vision
Apply California state court rules (required) and federal court rules to ensure compliance and accuracy
Respond to attorney and legal staff inquiries regarding deadlines, court procedures, and rule interpretation
Prepare and distribute deadline and status reports, perform quality checks, and escalate issues as needed
Support risk mitigation efforts by ensuring precise calendaring and proactive deadline management
Work overtime as required to support periods of heavy workload
Qualification
Required
2+ years of litigation docketing experience in a law firm environment
Hands-on CompuLaw Vision experience (required)
California state court docketing experience (required) with strong rule-calculation skills
Solid understanding of the litigation lifecycle, court procedures, and legal terminology
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and hitting the ground running
