Responsibilities
Perform structural and pipe welding using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols
Ensure all welding complies with company and industry safety standards
Conduct routine inspections and repairs of welded structures
Assemble, install, and repair boilers, tanks, and other large vessels
Use welding and bolting techniques to fabricate boiler components
Work at various heights and in confined spaces
Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
Align machines and equipment using precision tools and instruments
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform preventive maintenance
Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems, steam, and industrial piping
Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for pipe layouts
Cut, bend, and thread pipes using various hand and power tools
Fabricate and install steel structures and framework for buildings, bridges, and other structures
Perform rigging and signal crane operators for material placement
Ensure all ironwork is completed to code and meets safety standards
Read blueprints and layouts to assemble iron and steel components
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in welding
Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
Proven experience as a Boilermaker
Knowledge of boiler codes and standards (ASME)
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Must be physically capable of heavy lifting and working in challenging environments
Minimum 4 years of millwright experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read schematics, manuals, and mechanical drawings
Familiarity with machine shop tools and industrial equipment
Journeyman Pipe Fitter certification
At least 4 years of experience in pipe fitting
Ability to work with different materials such as copper, steel, and plastic
Familiarity with pressure testing and welding techniques for pipe systems
Minimum of 4 years of experience in ironwork
Ability to work at heights and use heavy lifting equipment
Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA regulations
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to work long, flexible hours and overtime as needed
Must be able to pass a post-offer / pre-placement drug screen and job-related employment physicals
Must also submit to a post-offer / pre-employment background check that verifies criminal history
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
