Contract Clinical Admin Support Specialist
Ultimate Staffing is a healthcare and behavioral health clinic seeking a Clinical Administrative Support Specialist to provide front office, patient services, and clinical administrative support in a fast‑paced medical environment. This role supports mental health clinicians, healthcare providers, and administrative leadership while serving as the first point of contact for patients and families.
Responsibilities
Patient check‑in and check‑out in a medical or mental health clinic
Patient registration and intake support
Notify clinicians and healthcare providers of patient arrival
Answer multi‑line phones in a healthcare setting
Support patient inquiries, appointment coordination, and general patient services
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Create a trauma‑informed, patient‑centered front office experience
Work within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Assist with clinical documentation support, case management workflows, patient discharges, and case closures
Support clinical teams with outcomes tracking, data entry, and record management
Assist with insurance minute checks, healthcare documentation, and administrative reporting
Support healthcare operations, behavioral health workflows, and clinical coordination
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and clinical coordination
Scanning, faxing, laminating, copying, and document management
Supporting multiple healthcare departments and clinical teams
Administrative assistance in a high‑volume medical office environment
General office support within a healthcare or behavioral health organization
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in healthcare administration, medical office administration, clinical administrative support, or behavioral health support
Experience working in a medical clinic, mental health clinic, hospital, outpatient setting, or behavioral health organization
Strong experience with EHR / EMR systems (Credible, Epic, or similar)
Knowledge of patient access, medical front desk operations, and clinical workflows
Excellent communication, customer service, and patient interaction skills
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced healthcare or clinical environment
Professional maturity, reliability, and strong organizational skills
Comfortable supporting clinicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ability to work fully onsite and start quickly
