Responsibilities
Design, review, plan, conduct, and document laboratory testing and experiments for medical devices and processes
Prepare test reports, test methods, data analyses, and data summaries
Perform routine visual inspections and documentation of combination product retains
Address test non-conformances through execution of the UCC DDN process
Maintain accurate, thorough laboratory documentation of all R&D activities
Perform testing in compliance with GLP, GDP, GMP, and QSR standards
Set up, safely operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and test instruments
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to create, review, and coordinate test protocols and reports
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and database systems
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
Comfortable working in laboratory, manufacturing, and office environments
Preferred
1–2 years of experience in a laboratory environment
Familiarity with design controls, quality systems, and project management
Working knowledge of statistics
