Responsibilities
Support and lead components of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and leasing
Assist with corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, corporate governance, private equity and venture capital deals, and commercial contracting
Conduct due diligence, draft agreements, manage transaction workflows, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Analyze legal, business, and financial risks to help clients advance strategic initiatives
Work collaboratively with partners and colleagues in a team-oriented environment
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate transactions, or finance work at a reputable law firm
Experience handling or supporting complex transactional matters, such as real estate financings, acquisitions and dispositions, or corporate M&A
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
Admission to practice law in Illinois or eligibility for admission
