Responsibilities
Create and maintain test cases, verify new code, full regression testing including system interfaces and implementation of releases
Test both new and existing Foundation Source front-end and Administration applications
Enter and follow up on issues using the Foundation Source Issue Tracking system
Participate in the investigation and resolution of user-reported product technology issues. Work closely with the Financial Operations and Client Services departments
Participate in the review of QA procedures and processes and the development of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered application software
Review functional specifications and design documents as they relate to the quality assurance process
Perform regression testing and participate in the testing of emergency bug fixes, patches, and major product releases
Qualification
Required
5+ years prior QA experience testing software applications
Agile process experience
BA/BS in a technology discipline
Solid working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and of QA processes and procedures. Has participated in process improvement initiatives
Well organized, technically proficient with a strong attention to detail
Good troubleshooting skills and ability to apply logic to determine the nature of problems, the steps to reproduce them and recommend action plans to resolve them
Jira experience, PMI certification a plus
Dedicated Workspace: Must have a home office or workspace that is free of distractions and interruptions to ensure productivity and focus during work hours
Reliable Internet Connection: High-speed internet is required to support video conferencing, file sharing, and other work-related technology needs
