Responsibilities
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to match the scope requirements for client contracts
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
Facilitate design reviews for compliance with engineering principles, contract requirements, and applicable standards
Approve design changes, specifications, engineering analyses, and drawings
Monitor the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule, and budget of projects in accordance with Holtec procedures and standard practices
Lead projects through technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track
Partner with Business Development on the preparation of proposals to clients for future work
Communicate between internal and external stakeholders on project status, including Holtec and Client executive teams
Mentor less-experienced Project Managers
Qualification
Required
B.S. in engineering from an accredited, 4-year university
5-9 years of related experience
Strong time management, problem solving, and organizational skills
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management
Knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel, and similar programs
Preferred
PMP certification preferred
Experience with scheduling and budgeting software preferred
Experience with engineering or fabrication projects preferred
