Responsibilities
Convert print books into high-quality digital ebooks, ensuring that visual hierarchy and storytelling are preserved
Adapt illustrated layouts for responsive, accessible, and platform-optimized experiences across various devices
Prepare and optimize images, illustrations, and other assets for digital use while maintaining quality
Format and produce ebooks in compliance with platform standards, including validation and quality assurance testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely delivery of projects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in designing and producing ebooks from print files
Familiarity with digital publishing standards, including ePub, fixed-layout versus reflowable formats, and digital typography
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and ebook export workflows
Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently
Preferred
Experience working with illustrated titles such as children's books, cookbooks, or photography books
