Senior Analyst, Audit and Compliance

Responsibilities
Provide employment eligibility verification support from a compliance perspective to the business, including tracking and addressing compliance issues with I-9
Develop and/or train I-9 administrators as needed
Conduct regular I-9 completion audits
Support compliance with U.S., state, and local regulatory filing requirements
Research changes in employment and privacy regulations related to background checks, drug screens, I-9, HR compliance, and HR policies to analyze impacts on the organization
Maintain and test SOX control narratives, including assisting the director with SOX control evaluations
Assist in adjudicating background checks
Participate in walkthroughs of business processes and identify risks across HR Operations
Collaborate with other functional areas like Legal in the delivery of compliance programs
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams in a fast-paced environment
Perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary
Qualification
Required
Experience with I-9s
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
4 year of relevant experience
2 years of experience working with federal requirements and/or regulatory matters; experience working closely with legal, compliance, and audit partners
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Experience in creating or updating work instructions
Ability to reliably manage highly confidential information
Ability to process information given in an effective and concise manner
Preferred
Experience with background checks, drug screens, and applicant tracking system(s)
Experience with employment eligibility verification
