Responsibilities
Microservices Architecture: Design and implement distributed systems using Spring Boot. You will handle inter-service communication using Feign Clients , ensuring optimal configuration for timeouts and retries
API Management & Security: Configure AWS API Gateway for request routing and implement secure authentication flows using OAuth2 , managing token exchange and endpoint security
Data Strategy: Write complex queries for MongoDB (including lookup/aggregation for joins) and utilize DynamoDB for high-throughput, low-latency requirements. Manage relational data using Spring Data JPA and @Transactional management
Performance & Scaling: Design systems to handle millions of transactions using Spring Batch and multi-layered Caching mechanisms
Resiliency: Implement global error handling using @ControllerAdvice and ensure standardized HTTP response codes across the ecosystem
Cloud Operations: Deploy and manage services using AWS EKS (Kubernetes) , Lambda , and S3
Observability: Take ownership of production health by using New Relic for monitoring and lead the debugging of complex production defects
Qualification
Required
