Lenoir-Rhyne University is a private liberal arts institution seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide executive support for the Deans of the College of Business and Economics and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Responsibilities

Provides administrative support for the College Deans with responsibility for calendar management, travel arrangements, project activities, information retrieval, reporting, and complex administrative matters
Manages overall office administration for the Colleges
Plans, coordinates, and executes logistics for Colleges’ events and projects
Serves as primary liaison between the Colleges and other University departments and external stakeholders
Promotes a professional and inclusive work environment
Oversees the facilities operations of Mauney Hall
Performs other duties as assigned by the College Deans

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving/conflict resolutions skills

High School diploma

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
A minimum of three years' experience directly related to the skills, duties, and responsibilities listed
Experience in a higher education setting
