The role involves providing day-to-day accounting support, preparing journal entries, and collaborating with plant operations to resolve accounting issues.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day accounting support for the recycling division
Prepare and record journal entries, including month-end close activities
Complete revenue recognition and hedge accounting entries
Review cost accounting reports and prepare related journal entries
Conduct account reconciliations and in-depth account analysis
Manage and analyze large sets of financial and operational data
Collaborate with plant teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues
Liaise with departments such as Treasury, Internal Audit, Tax, and Financial Reporting
Participate in special projects and continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3–5 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data accurately
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with SAP, BPC, Alteryx, or Power BI is a plus
