Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex software systems, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and secure
Develop high-quality, efficient full-stack applications using modern programming languages and frameworks, covering front-end, back-end, database, and cloud services
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product owners, infrastructure, and security to translate requirements into technical solutions
Conduct thorough code reviews, implement automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), and uphold coding standards
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and address production incidents promptly
Contribute to DevOps initiatives by supporting CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes
Research and recommend emerging technologies and tools to improve development workflows and solution capabilities
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specs, APIs, and operational procedures
Ensure all solutions comply with cybersecurity standards and industry regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
At least 7 years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
Extensive experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including serverless computing, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and managed cloud services
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
Excellent problem-solving, analytical abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Master's degree in a relevant discipline
Industry experience within Oil & Gas or Energy sectors, especially with upstream (E&P) data and systems
Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, or Data Bricks
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Understanding of Machine Learning or AI concepts
Experience with Operational Technology (OT) system integration
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer)
