Oversee and guide engineering teams, ensuring projects are effectively managed and delivered on time
Develop manufacturing processes to produce the gears in line with the quotes
Monitor the production processes and participate in the resolution of any issues that develop during the manufacturing processes
Supervise and assign work to the Engineering staff
Review all new gear orders and direct the Engineering staff to process and document the jobs in a timely and efficient manner
Review the work product of the Engineering staff to ensure that it is completed thoroughly, accurately, and on time
Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards
Prepare and adhere to annual financial budgets
Qualification
Required
Strong background in Software Development and Project Management, with the ability to oversee technical workflows and deliverables
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards
Prepare and adhere to annual financial budgets
5-10 years of experience in gear manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong knowledge of gear design, gear manufacturing processes and quality control
Familiarity with ERP systems
