Responsibilities
NestJS Orchestration: Design and maintain modular NestJS services that act as the "brain" of our agent, managing state, authentication, and complex workflow integrations
Immersive Integration: Develop and optimize the bridge between backend services and Unreal Engine via Pixel Streaming and WebRTC, ensuring low-latency communication and synchronized data flow
AI/LLM Pipelines: Integrate and fine-tune conversational AI workflows, including Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and LLM response generation using GCP services and custom providers
Frontend Excellence: Build high-performance, glass-morphic UIs using React Router 7 and Tailwind CSS, specifically focusing on the integration of WebRTC video streams with reactive UI components
Code Quality & Testing: Maintain a high-coverage test suite using Jest (backend) and Vitest/Playwright (frontend). You will be expected to implement TDD practices and ensure all services meet strict quality gates
Observability: Utilize OpenTelemetry and structured logging to monitor the performance of real-time streaming and AI inference pipelines
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with TypeScript and NestJS
Deep understanding of Dependency Injection, Guard/Interceptor patterns, and custom decorators
Hands-on experience with WebRTC and Unreal Engine Pixel Streaming (handling data channels, connection negotiation, and signal servers)
Expertise in both GraphQL (code-first) and RESTful API design
Experience with TypeORM and PostgreSQL, including performance optimization and complex migrations
Expert-level skill in unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing
Familiarity with SonarQube or similar quality gate tools
Experience with Docker-compose, GCP (Speech API/Storage), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Cloud Build)
Preferred
Knowledge of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and Aries Cloud Agent Python (ACA-Py)
Experience with workflow automation tools like n8n
Experience with voice pipelines: Deploy and optimize the Willow Project (Speech-to-Speech) on the GPU cluster
Manage the websocket flow (User → STT → SLM → TTS → User) to minimize jitter
Experience with OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing in a microservices environment
