Responsibilities
Manage receipt, labeling, storage, tracking, and shipments of customer samples either chemical or biological
Ensure proper chain of custody and documentation for sample integrity
Maintain sample records in LIMS
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Coordinate sample management between labs, storage, and offsite stability company
Work closely with lab analysts, project managers, and customers to meet timelines
Assist with sample reconciliation and preparation for audits and inspections
Knowledge of sample handling procedures in a laboratory setting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, IT)
Minimum 2 years of experience in sample logistics or sample management within a contract research or pharmaceutical environment
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA) and quality management systems
Ability to handle biohazardous materials and hazardous chemicals while following all safety protocols
Preferred
GxP experience preferred
Experience in a CRO/CDMO is strongly preferred
Experience in a site start-up is strongly preferred
Familiarity with LabWare LIMS (7 and/or 8) or other LIMS systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
