Responsibilities
Oversee the organization's IT SOX 404 compliance program, including testing and documentation of IT General Controls (ITGCs)
Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key technology controls
Identify control gaps, raise deficiencies, and support remediation planning through completion
Maintain a strong audit mindset and apply appropriate professional skepticism when reviewing evidence
Lead end-to-end execution of IT-related audits, including financial, operational, and compliance-focused reviews
Develop audit planning materials such as project plans, scope documents, and audit memos
Manage multiple concurrent audits and ensure timely delivery against deadlines
Draft audit results, key findings, and actionable recommendations for leadership review
Build trusted relationships with IT leadership, compliance teams, and cross-functional control owners
Facilitate productive discussions around control expectations, exceptions, and corrective actions
Drive efficiency and continuous improvement in audit processes and requirements
Provide coaching and mentorship to a small audit staff (1-2 direct reports)
Support the development of a high-performing, collaborative internal audit culture
Utilize audit management platforms such as AuditBoard or similar tools
Apply strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office for reporting and analytics
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in IT Audit and SOX 404 compliance
Strong background in IT risk, control testing, and ITGC documentation
Proven success delivering complex audits under tight timelines
Experience managing audit projects, stakeholders, and audit plans
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
2+ years of experience leading or managing team members
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Exposure to media, entertainment, or similarly fast-moving industries
Familiarity with systems such as JDE, OnBase, or comparable enterprise platforms
CPA, CIA, CISA (or actively pursuing certification)
