Professional Services Sales Consultant

The Professional Services Sales Consultant is responsible for driving Professional Services bookings and revenue through consultative selling, while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful customer outcomes and platform adoption.

Responsibilities
Own and achieve an individual Professional Services quota aligned to annual bookings, recognized revenue, and margin-aligned deal structures
Build, manage, and convert a healthy pipeline of qualified services opportunities across new and existing customers
Drive expansion of services revenue within existing customer relationships
Support net-new platform sales by positioning services as a critical component of customer success
Research target markets, identify potential clients, and initiate contact through calls, emails, and social media
Lead discovery and qualification efforts, translating customer needs into appropriate scoped, value-based services solutions
Partner with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to shape solutions that balance customer outcomes, delivery feasibility, revenue and margin targets
Partner with Delivery and PMO teams to develop scopes, pricing models, timelines, resourcing plans, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
Serve as the primary services partner to Product Sales and Account teams during pre-sales cycles
Ensure smooth transition of services opportunities from sales to delivery, maintaining deal context and expectations
Collaborate with Client Success teams to identify follow-on and expansion services opportunities
Support the AVP of Business Development in executing go-to-market strategies for Professional Services
Provide input on services packaging, pricing, and repeatable offerings based on market feedback
Stay current on FinTech industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive services offerings to refine outreach strategies
Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and forecast data in CRM systems
Participate in weekly and monthly forecast reviews
Provide visibility into risks, upside, and timing of services deals
Qualification
Required
Proven success carrying and achieving a professional services quota
Experience selling complex services engagements tied to technology platforms
Strong understanding of services economics, including pricing, utilization, and margin considerations
Quota-driven, results-oriented mindset
Consultative selling and executive-level communication
Strong collaboration and influence without authority
Disciplined pipeline and forecast management
Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience in Business Development, Services Sales, or Consultative Sales in FinTech, SaaS, or Financial Services
