Responsibilities
Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
Performs project tasks that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
Provides reports, project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others
Uses negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve project performance commitments
Responsible for the development and update of task specific, plans, deliverables and schedules
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in Project Management OR Master's Degree and 4+ years experience in Project Management OR 10+ years experience in Project Management
Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
Experience with articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management
Experience in interpreting data and presenting analysis and/or recommendations to management
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
Experience facilitating the meetings and presenting to senior leaders
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in Project Management OR Master's Degree and 8+ years experience in Project Management OR 14+ years experience in Project Management
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Manager Professional (PgMP) certification is preferred
