Senior Business Systems Analyst
UChicago Medicine is one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic medical centers, and they are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst. In this vital role, you will act as the primary liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams, analyzing complex clinical workflows and translating them into functional system specifications to optimize clinical information systems.

Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document complex clinical and business requirements
Devises plan and procedures to solve complex business problems given constraints
Revising existing (problematic) system logic or workflow
Evaluate clinical business implications of technology on the current environment
Mentors less experienced Business System Analysts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management or information systems
Minimal of four (4) years' experience with information system software solutions
Strong understanding of clinical processes and workflow
Proven skills in troubleshooting, problem solving, and solution development
Experience with multiple clinical software applications, systems analysis/design, Integration/design, clinical workflow/design, and business process/design
Develop system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other visual representations to communicate system designs and functionalities
Solid skills in documenting and analyzing business processes
Solid understanding of underlying technologies: networking, medical devices, integration, EMR, server (on-premises and cloud), database, and storage
Must be able to prioritize, organize, and assess work in order to meet aggressive deadlines and to cope in a fast-paced environment
Capable of working well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and successfully interacting with others at all levels of the organization, including remote teams
Must have issue tracking and resolution skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and effective presentation skills
Experience developing presentations for project work
Ability to plan and facilitate meetings with internal and external participants
Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations
