Responsibilities
Lead drainage design efforts for roadway and transportation infrastructure projects
Prepare and review drainage calculations, technical reports, plans, and permit documentation
Manage multi-discipline project teams, including schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle
Provide technical oversight and quality control for drainage-related design work
Mentor and support the development of junior engineers and technical staff
Contribute to business development activities, including proposal support, technical narratives, and client relationship building
Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding drainage and transportation services within Florida
Qualification
Required
Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
Minimum of six years of post-licensure experience with a primary focus on drainage design
Demonstrated experience winning and delivering Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects
Strong working knowledge of FDOT design standards and plan preparation requirements
Proficiency with drainage and roadway design tools such as MicroStation/GEOPAK, ICPR/StormWise, SWMM, ASAD, and HEC-RAS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineering staff
Preferred
Experience with 3D modeling
