They are seeking an Accounting Specialist to perform routine accounting support duties, assist in journal entries and ledger reconciliations, and maintain strong working relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

Verifies, posts, adds, computes, matches, balances and summarizes routine documents

Assist in the preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of ledger accounts, reports and schedules

Prepare, complete, analyze and report accounting transactions and system maintenance ensuring integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles

Maintain strong working relationships with customers

Focus of responsibility is on profitability of sales, verifying transactions

Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualification

Accounting experienceAccounts receivableComputer skillsEffective communicationGEDHS Diploma

Required

HS Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience

Normal office environment with minimal physical exertion

Preferred

Prior accounts receivable and collections experience a plus

Prefer one (1) year of demonstrated experience in an accounting function

Effective communication skills and proficient computer skills required
