LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant who will play a key role in managing core accounting processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This hands-on role involves working closely with the Controller and CFO to improve processes and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own and manage:

Prepaids journal entry schedule and reconciliation

Fixed assets, depreciation, and rollforward; coordinate quarterly with operations

Accruals and reserves (including workers’ comp and medical)

Accounts payable reconciliation

Debt rollforward

Lease maintenance journal entries and rollforwards

Other reconciliations, journal entries, and special projects

Support process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for efficiency

Qualification

Required

Strong GAAP knowledge

Ability to identify and prepare proper supporting documentation for journal entries and reconciliations

Highly motivated and proactive—someone who goes beyond the bare minimum

Excellent Excel skills (data analysis, variance analysis)

Strong communication skills

Proven experience driving process improvements

Large ERP experience

Heavy Excel usage
