Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair services for robotic systems and components
Perform scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and extend system life
Maintain accurate service records, case documentation, warranty claims, and CRM updates
Deliver hands-on training and coaching to customers and internal teams on system operation, maintenance, and safety
Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback to engineering and product teams regarding system performance, deficiencies, and desired enhancements
Maintain service tools, spare parts, and test equipment inventory
Identify upsell opportunities during service visits and support sales teams with technical insights
Maintain demo units and support technical setup for exhibitions and customer demos
Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical field
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
3+ years in field service, robotics, automation, or electro-mechanical systems (Experience with 6- axis robots and AMRs preferred)
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams
Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, actuators, and industrial networking
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work effectively both under minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team
Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be located within 90 minutes of a major airport
Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally

Preferred

Technical certifications in robotics or automation are a plus
Programming experience (C++, Python, Java) is a plus
