InternAM General LLC is seeking a Quality Intern to support vehicle manufacturing operations aligned with their Quality Management System (QMS). The intern will assist with quality processes, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Learn and support the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) and quality processes from incoming inspection through final product handoff to the customer
Assist with basic part, assembly, and process verification activities under supervision
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and build requirements to understand acceptance criteria
Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, checklists, and work instructions
Support documentation of nonconformances and corrective actions in accordance with quality procedures
Gain working knowledge of applicable quality standards and how they are applied in daily operations
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to understand end-to-end product flow
Assist with data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, with junior or senior standing preferred
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to clearly and accurately document technical and quality-related information
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, production-focused environment
High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
Interest in quality systems, program management, production processes, and vehicle integration
Must be able to regularly read computer screen, reports, and various documents with detail and clarity
Must be able to regularly hear well enough to communicate
Must be able to regularly coordinate one's eyes with one's fingers, wrists, or arms
Must be able to regularly make quick, accurate, skillful, and coordinated movement with hands and arms
Must be able to regularly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, or legs
Must be able to occasionally climb, kneel, bend over, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance
Must be able to occasionally exert oneself physically over long periods of time
Preferred
Exposure to or a basic understanding of ISO/IATF preferred
