Responsibilities
Assist with electrical quantity takeoffs, material/labor breakdowns, and cost analyses
Help prepare bid packages, proposals, pricing documents, and estimate summaries
Maintain updated pricing data, supplier quotes, and historical cost records
Request and organize vendor/subcontractor quotes; clarify scope items as needed
Coordinate with senior estimators, project leaders, engineers, and procurement
Support documentation needs, including bid files, revisions, and post‑bid follow‑up
Participate in training to build knowledge of electrical systems and estimating tools
Contribute to process improvements and internal workflow enhancements
Perform additional estimating or administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of experience in electrical construction, estimating, or related fields (internships acceptable)
Basic understanding of electrical systems or willingness to learn
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications (or learn quickly)
Strong Excel skills and general proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
Awareness of safe construction practices
Preferred
Degree or training in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline preferred
Familiarity with estimating or construction software (e.g., Conest, Accubid, Procore) preferred
