Responsibilities
Apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software and systems
Research, design, develop and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for various applications
Build mobile applications for either Android or iOS
Implement multithreading programming and manage mobile memory effectively
Ship at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users
Build maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques and test automation techniques in Android or iOS
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience building mobile applications, either android or iOS
Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management
Shipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users
Strong Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques and test automation techniques in Android or iOS
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage one's time
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue
Knowledge of computer hardware and software
Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required
Two coding interviews with either Android language or iOS
Preferred
Experience with QA work would be a plus
Ability to cover on call shifts that can be after hours or on weekend
